We are so glad you are interested in joining the -=USAF=- CLAN. We have two groups of members - first the ENLISTED CORP, second the OFFICER CORP. Currently we advance officers from within the clan. If you choose to join for FREE in our enlisted corp, please post your game name in our forums JOIN section or send an e-mail to theusafclan@yahoo.com expressing your interest in becoming a member.

The current selection process goes something like this. Once -=USAF=- members know of your interest, we will observe your skills and your behavior. The best way for you to be seen is to play on the Rifles servers in the evening when many of the USAF clan play. If you appear to be a good prospect, we will invite you to become one of our recruits. This is a probationary position within the clan and lasts for about two weeks. During this time you will wear -=USAF=-Rct.(yourgamename) while playing. At the end of the probation period, if we like what we see then you will be invited into the clan as an AMN. We are using Air Force ranks, because it is original. AMN = Airman, that's like a PVT in the army. So, if you make the clan your tags will be -=USAF=-AMN.(yourgamename). Everyone will start at the bottom. Advancement in the clan will be dependent on attitude, dedication, and skills - in that order.

All -=USAF=- members should have XFIRE. Once you set up xfire, look for ricflair1 = that is General Ric Flair and head of the USAF clan. Once you become a RECRUIT if you play on a MAC, contact either General Doc Phil or Colonel Hladgunnr via e-mail or in game and they will send you a MAC xFire program that runs through ADIUM. You do not need a mic for XFire. You can send IMs to each other.

AN IMPORTANT NOTE: USAF members use Teamspeak on a daily basis. It has become an integral part of they way we communicate and socialize as a clan. We strongly recommend purchasing a set of USB Headphones with a mike and installing Teamspeak on your computer. If you wish to scrim (compete against other clans) as a USAF member, Teamspeak will be necessary in order to play.
